About Samira's Career

Samira’s practice is focused on complex civil sexual assault litigation and product liability litigation against corporate giants such as Uber Technologies, Inc., Samsung, and LG Chem, LTD. 

In her rideshare sexual assault practice, Samira has been integral to the Uber Rideshare Assault JCCP in San Francisco Superior Court since the beginning of the litigation. She played a key role in the Petition for Coordination and is extensively involved in the litigation. Samira is also involved in the Lyft Rideshare Assault JCCP in San Francisco Superior Court. She assisted in several depositions of critical Lyft employees and briefed multiple discovery issues. 

In her E-cigarette Explosion practice, Samira briefed, argued, and defeated personal jurisdiction challenges in multiple state and federal courts by foreign corporate entities.  

Samira also has experience in arbitration, where she briefed evidentiary issues, motions in limine, and post-arbitration issues, as well as conducted direct and cross examination. 

Samira graduated from the University of California College of the Law San Francisco (formerly named UC Hastings College of the Law).  During her time in law school, she served as a legal writing and moot court teaching assistant and was a senior editor on the Constitutional Law Quarterly Journal. 

Samira is a bay area native who grew up in Sonoma County. Outside of work, she enjoys cooking, watching Arsenal and Bayern Munich soccer matches, playing tennis with her husband, and spending time with her cats.
