David Grimes is an experienced attorney with a strong focus on litigation and trial advocacy. •  First-chairing a three-week arbitration involving a complex partnership dispute with significant financial stakes. 
• Deposition practice, having taken and defended depositions in various disputes, including those involving opposing parties and expert witnesses.
• Appellate advocacy arguing appeals in both the California Court of Appeals and the 9th Circuit, resulting in favorable rulings for his clients.
• Defeating case-dispositive motions such as the retroactive application of the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration's order on truck driver rest and meal break class actions in a motion for summary judgment — that successful effort paved the way toward securing a multimillion-dollar settlement on behalf of over 380 California-based truck drivers. 
• Navigating discovery processes by successfully obtaining orders compelling the production of critical case-breaking documents, as well as handling and analyzing voluminous electronically stored information (ESI) productions, and utilizing Python scripts to manage, sort, and extract meaningful insights.
