Judge Allows Evidence Monsanto Hid Roundup Lymphoma Risks

Dewayne Johnson was diagnosed with non-Hodgkin Lymphoma (NHL) and he is suing Monsanto over whether Roundup caused his cancer. Johnson claims Monsanto knew of the risks and hid them from the EPA and consumers, and now the judge has ordered these claims can be presented at trial:

Johnson has carried his burden of producing evidence that a reasonable jury could find amounts to clear and convincing evidence of malice, fraud, or oppression.

Monsanto Company faces possible punitive damages if the jury agrees the cancer was caused by Roundup and Monsanto hid the risks.
